Tonight was the season premiere of the Biggest Loser and day two of my own personal attempt at competing against my coworkers to be the RV version of the biggest loser.
Yesterday (Monday):
B: 2 Hot & Spicy Morning Star Soysages with half an Avocado and 8 cups of decaf coffee w/splenda and two tablespoons of heavy cream
S: 1/4cup peanuts
L: 4 cups of greens with 3oz Havarti, 3 slices of yves "turkey" slices, 2 Tbsp Whole Foods Roasted Garlic and Rosemary dressing, 3 Tbsp white wine vinegar
S: Half a cucumber, sliced
D: An entire package of Gardein hotwings (only half the sauce) w/a tiny bit of sour cream and blue cheese (didn't eat as much of blue cheese mix as I planned because I didn't really like it). Drank a zero calorie Steaz with dinner (not realizing there was caffeine in the beverage.
Random: 2 packets of 4C Totally Light To Go (cherry pomegranate)
Exercise: One mile walk
Today (Tuesday):
B: Spinach and Cheddar omelette w/three cups of coffee, 1 Tbsp heavy cream & splenda
S: Half an avocado
L: Three slices of yves "turkey" with mustard; salad (4 cups of greens with 3oz goat cheese and balsamic vinegrette); Diet Coke (Decaf)
S: 1 Mozzerella Cheese stick
D: 3oz "steak" bites (four pieces), half cup of mock mashed potatoes (delish), and half cup of cooked spinach; cucumber sparkling water
Exercise: About an hour on the treadmill - First mile in 19:59, Second mile in 42:09, and Third mile in 62:33 and I actually took the time to stretch afterwards. Used the Cynthia Running Mix as a motivator. Had to make two trips to the bathroom during/after the workout - almost didn't make it the second time.
Regarding the yves "turkey" slices, which we were all curious about...the first time I tried it in a salad and thought I didn't like them. But today I tried them by themselves with the mustard and they weren't bad at all.
I had to take a nap today because I got a terrible headache this afternoon. I'm hoping this isn't going to be a regular trend.
Also, my urine is a delightfully fluorescent yellow now that I'm taking a MVI (Rainbow's Light Women's One). I asked the clerk for a vitamin that wouldn't cause GI upset and this seems to be working out (the above noted GI upset was due to the exercise). I'm also taking Whole Foods 365 Flax Seed Oil caplets and my sublingual B12 vitamin. Drinking plenty of water...
